    SAP社がマンハイムのDaimler (ダイムラー) AGの工場でAR技術を利用した導入実験的を行っている。片眼タイプのHMDと機械の入ったリュックのようなものを背負うことにより部品の配置場所を示してくれる(もちろんそれだけではないだろうが)。この技術の導入によって誰でも簡単、正確に部品を選ぶ事ができ、さらに生産性も上がることが証明されれば、正式に導入されることだろう。

See how this future technology, which is based on SAP NetWeaver Mobile, is already tested at Daimler AG in Mannheim. The new technology is part of the SiWear research project, which is sponsored by the German Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology. Partners are SAP Research, Daimler AG, teXXmo GmbH, The Mobile Research Center and Neo Business Partners GmbH.
