Join the classrooom of the future. As an experiment a group of seventh graders at Åssiden elementary school has been invited to travel in space. Through Hololens goggles the pupils can see both the real and the virtual world at the same time. The technology is called Mixed Reality (MR)
Episode 1: Holo-Hunting with "Shoekemon"
This is an experiment being developed as a sort of interactive game where the user goes 'hunting' for holograms shoes hidden around a physical space.
Episode 2: ELSE Corp x Virtual Boutique
Here the user is introduced to the E.L.S.E. Virtual Boutique where all elements are holograms and they can configure the product using gestures.
This video was a preview of ELSE Corp's (else-corp.com) in-development, #VRxVR fork project from their E.L.S.E. technology API framework (https://www.else-corp.com/technology), using Microsoft's HoloLens, shown at Microsoft Forum 2017.

Sony's Future Lab is a R&D group responsible for taking crazy ideas into the prototype phase, and one impressive vision shown here at SXSW in Austin this week is a projector that turns any flat surface into a screen for light to play on. The "Interactive Tabletop" concept uses depth sensors and motion tracking to know when objects are placed on the table and even bring storybooks to life. The project looks like a fully realized version of the augmented reality coffee table inventor and technologist Bastian Broecker constructed back in 2012 using a PlayStation Eye camera and a Microsoft Kinect sensor.

Elles donnent à vivre un ensemble de scénarios improbables qui tiennent à la fois du mirage et du miracle, qui jouent à la frontière entre le vrai et le faux, l’animé et l’inanimé, l’authentique et l’imposture, la magie, le merveilleux, et l’inouï.

Ranging from small to large-scale work, this corpus of installations offers a delicate coincidence between the virtual and the material using augmented drawings, holographic illusions, virtual-reality headsets, large-scale projections. It offers a unique ensemble of improbable scenarios that takes root in both the mirage and the miracle, and plays with the boundaries between true and false, the animate and the inanimate, the authentic and the deceptive, the magical, the wondrous, and the indescriptible.

AΦE announces the world premiere of its newest dance and Virtual Reality production, ‘WHIST’, which will take place at the Colyer-Fergusson Hall at The Gulbenkian, Canterbury, 12 – 13 April 2017. Inspired by Sigmund Freud’s dream theory, WHIST invites audiences on a journey into the unconscious mind, where instincts will be the guide through a narrative of surreal dreams and fears.
Combining Physical Theatre and Mixed Reality Technology, the production bring the magic of theatre together with the type of special effects only possible in the world of film. WHIST incorporates 360 ̊ interactive film, soundscapes and an architectural art installation to create an environment that blurs all boundaries – between consciousness and unconsciousness, reality and fiction, the physical and the virtual.
Immersed in a world of unfolding dreams, the viewer chooses his or her own path, creating a truly unique narrative dependent on choice – their personal decisions made through the course of the mesmerising hour- long experience.
John Lewis commissioned this animation for the feature staircase at their new flagship store in Leeds.
The installation for the feature staircase combines the physical and the digital, with the stickman hero moving across 14 screens embedded amongst the wall blocks. Shoppers can discover different parts of the stickman's epic journey as they move between the floors of the store.
