A member of IDEO in the documentary film Objectified let us in on a secret of design...that it's best to design for the outliers and let the ones in the middle fall into place. For all the hype of augmented reality, there have been few successes, and for good reason. We are designing for fleet foxes, instead of Mr Three-toed Sloth. Limongello will attempt to show some examples of how we already use augmented reality in life, and how limiting our range of movement, and focusing less on applications that cater to those who run around cities marking their territory can help us understand the value of augmented reality.
