    TOAL IMMERSION が、一般のユーザでも気軽に簡単に使えるよう、FlashベースのARソリューションの提供を開始した。

    Augmented reality specialist, Total Immersion, last week announced the launch of D'Fusion for Adobe Flash Player. According to the company, the new product is a solution to the increasing demand from online marketing professionals and advertisers for "easily accessible augmented reality experiences for a wide audience of consumers."

    Unlike previous Web-enabled AR solutions, Total Immersion claims, D'Fusion for Adobe Flash Player avoids the need for a specific AR plug-in download, as it is actually built into the latest version of the Flash plug-in itself. Adobe Flash Player already reaches 99% of Internet-enabled desktops, the company says, making AR experiences ready for use on a much larger scale than before.
