Global - FedEx Express has taken its digital advertising effort to the next level with an augmented reality-based world map that puts global business data at users' fingertips.
At the new website, users can find data provided by The Economist Intelligence Unit in eight categories, including air travel, people in cities, business growth and education. The information is presented in an animated world map, on which the size of the countries will expand or shrink according to the specific set of data that a user clicks for.
The campaign also includes an augmented reality experience that allows users to see the data in three-dimension by holding up a FedEx print ad in front of a webcam.
