The latest release of Wikitude for iPhone and iPad2 introduces the option of offering premium content.

Starting with the latest release of Wikitude for iPhone and iPad2 we are pleased to introduce the option of offering premium content with a ‘try & buy’ content sales concept. Premium content is easy to discover on Wikitude and users won’t have to buy a black box of unknown content, they can preview the content before actually parting with their cash. Initially offering travel related premium content, Wikitude will soon expand to other domains and Augmented Reality (AR) experiences.

Even though the majority of Wikitude content will remain free for users, this latest update is an excellent opportunity for Wikitude to invite developers and content owners – large or small – to offer their content with the opportunity to monetize it as an Augmented Reality World.
