---New 5.0 Features---
Layar is happy to announce that version 5.0 is now available for both Android and iPhone. This release follows our beta period in which we allowed anyone to test the new version and provide feedback. We would like to thank everyone who participated in the beta, helping make Layar 5.0 the best version yet!
---So what's new in Layar 5.0?---
Sharing API - Layar 5.0 now features the ability to share content via Facebook and Twitter. The API opens up the door for you to engage users in new ways by encouraging the sharing of layers, spots, achievements and screenshots.
Animation API - Layar 5.0 also comes the ability for more interactivity within layers thanks to our animation capabilities. Layers are no longer limited to static content. Now icons and 3D models can come alive with basic animation.
Improved UI - Thanks to the great user feedback we've received, some tweaks to the user interface have been implemented into the client. Users now begin in their list of Favorite layers, or can quickly view their most Recent layers, along with our standard featured and popular lists.
