A demo of Augmented Reality Powered by String™ To help promote the independent film God Save the Red Black and Blonde, String™ and Unity 3d were cool enough to let Ordered Productions test out the new Augmented Reality plug-in developed by String™ Augmented Reality lets consumers access three dimensional information from two dimensional images. When the Red Black and Blonde mini poster is viewed through the ipod touch, a 3d version of the poster can be seen, along with animations. Dan Jimenez the developer was able to create this demo easily with String™ through Unity 3D. This demo is a simple example of the technology, but the potential for software is unlimited. The only limitation is the imagination.
