The rumors during the past couple of hours seemed to indicate that the announcement from J.K. Rowling would be a sort of ARG – Augmented Reality Game – which would take place online and then send people out into the real world looking for clues of some sort. The Guardian had an interesting write-up about it which they claim came from a leak within Pottermore’s PR company, Adam & Eve. Aspiring wizards the world over would hope to find an undisclosed number of magic wands hidden throughout the UK and US – possibly other countries as well. The reality of the matter was far off.
