Once you become a member of the DriveNow community you can hire BMW and MINI cars which are distributed throughout the city or reserve them for a short time. You can register either online or over mobile. Then the app shows all available vehicles on DriveNow map and you can reserve any vehicle with a single click. There is also a routing function to the next available vehicle.
But, the apps innovative concept doesnt stop here you can also see cars in augmented reality and shake to find the nearest free car. If you are one of the lucky few who live in Munich, you definitely should have this app on your phone. Luckily, it is slowly extending to other German and European cities. Definitely an innovative concept!
