For the second year, Detroit-based technology company Compuware Corporation is providing the Maker Faire Detroit mobile app. This year's app ups the technology from last year's - using augmented reality in a fun puzzle-building quest. Visitors will scan various codes during the event and their 3-D robot will come to life on their mobile device. Another cool feature is that after the event, the app is still fun to play with. It has built in social sharing, a schedule and map features, too.
