    In 2011, MINI of Grand Rapids and Kendall College of Art and Design held a design contest competition for students and alumni. The winning submission was entered into ArtPrize 2012, the world's largest monetary prize art competition held in Grand Rapids, MI. Tyler Wayner's winning submission, MedMileMINI, is a multi-level design and a tribute to the Medical Mile. The x-ray design incorporates the use of design elements on the car, ground and also through an augmented reality app that truly makes the car "come to life". www.miniofgrandrapids.com
