(via YouTube by TheDSEtube)The Caterpillar Touchpoint installations were designed for the Mine Expo trade show booth in Vegas in September 2012 and was also designed to be relocated at the Caterpillar corporate offices in a permanent way. The two, double-sided abstract truck-shapped structures feature branding elements of Caterpillar and consists of 4 experiential, interactive content zones including augmented reality and a custom ipad application using the Apple technology on just one side. The other side of the branded structure features three more screens showcasing visually engaging 3-D content and a screen dedicated to Caterpillar branding. The complexity in the depth of levels of content results in a thorough informational cluster of information that educates the viewer about Caterpillar initiatives in a fun, interactive way.
