This video demonstrates some of the "before and after" synthetic imagery capabilities of the ARS Mission Management System, as well as the augmented reality overlay showing street, parcel, and address overlay on live FLIR video. The "before" imagery was acquired March-April 2012.
The Tactical Flight Officers have the ability in their helicopter to view pre-event aerial imagery side-by-side with live video, to toggle back and forth between synthetic and live video, and to turn overlays on or off. The video is digitally recorded with MISB compliant KLV data for archival, evidentiary purposes, and post-mission analysis.
