    This is a showcase of what is possible with Augmented Reality and data services running on a variety of mobile devices.

    This demonstration process goes from customer seeing an advert in a trade magazine, getting product information including stock and pricing, requesting a discount, through to the order being placed.

    The solution uses a combination of native Android development and Netweaver CE devolopment including JSF / JQuery mobile web applications and Netweaver BPM.

    Touch Vision Interface enables touch interaction on many different connected surfaces through a mobile phones’ camera view. The translation of touch input coordinates to the captured video feed creates the illusion of being able to directly manipulate a distant surface. As a result, the interaction feels natural and almost invisible.

    The device uses two sliding transparent surfaces that attach to one another and form the smartphone. You can split them and still pair them most likely via wireless and this is very cool, since you get double the screen estate you’d normally benefit from. We must also mention that the screens have divided roles, as one is the Mother and the other one is the Lens.
    You can shift from passive to active UI output and also you’ll interact via gestures with this handset if you want. Imagine the opportunities of the Lens screen: augmented reality: tons of photo taking options, great navigation services and landmark positioning on the map, augmented gaming and social networking. Incredible!

    「拡張現実(AR)で商品を効果的に表示すると、どれだけ売上が上がるの?」という質問が日本では後を立たないようだ。「このサイネージに商品を表示するとどれだけ商品が売れるの?」という質問に答えられないことが多いはずだが...やらない理由が欲しいのだろう。 ここで紹介する資料は、その回答を知りたい人に対して説明できそうだ。

    Customers are more likely to buy a product after engaging with an augmented reality experience and will do so at a higher price point, says new research.

    The research, by marketing communications consultancy Hidden, set out to prove the effectiveness of augmented reality versus traditional sales and marketing collateral.

    The research aimed to recreate the famous Pepsi challenge, but this time comparing traditional marketing materials and display advertising versus augmented reality.  100 parents were shown a marketing communications and a display advert for a child’s toy, while another 100 parents were shown the child’s toy as an interactive augmented reality experience.

    Bangkok: For people who have stood at a monument or scanned a landscape - the Great Wall of China, for instance, or the US Grand Canyon - and wondered how it looked 100 or more years ago, there is now an app for you. Historypin, on iOS and Android platforms, strives to create a collection of memories about locations by counting on people to dig up and digitise old photographs and other media of the places, along with personal recollections of the past. Combined with modern pictures and memories, the app creates a story of a place for people to enjoy - a sort of "time machine in your pocket," its backers say.

    It seems fitting that Net-a-porter chose model-turned-blogger Hanneli Mustaparta to headline its fall ad campaign, which launches online Sept. 13 and hits publications worldwide this month, beginning with Asia. Later this month ads will appear in books across the U.S., Europe and the Middle East such as Elle, Vogue, Harper’s Bazaar and Tatler.
    Shot by Patrick Demarchelier, the ads also star Ann Dexter-Jones, Atlanta de Cadenet and Shala Monroque. From “super blogger” to “super mom,” the images are “vignettes into the lives and fashion loves of these women,” according to a spokesman from the brand.

    ARマーカーには、男性向けに仕掛けを施しているようです。下から覗くと...際どいですね。話題にはなるでしょうが、3DS向けのゲームですから何らかの規制がかかるかもしれません。


    本作は、“成長と冒険の物語”を最新の技術で見せる完全新作のRPG。吉田明彦さんをリードアーティストとして、新たな世界を高解像度の3Dグラフィックで描くという。

    ニンテンドーeショップでは、“ブレイブリーデフォルト AR 体験アプリ”を11月1日まで期間限定で配信している。このアプリを使い、本作専用のARマーカーを使うと、これまでにないARムービーを体験することができるという。ARマーカーは、9月15日~18日に開催される東京ゲームショウ2011で先行公開され、公式サイトなどでの一般公開は9月22日を予定しているとのこと。

    一点は、ARマーカーをPCで表示されるARバンド、もう一つはバーコードで認識して、表示されたアニメーション(歌う口)をメンバーの写真の口のところに置いて楽しむというもの。


    This interactive CD package was designed for Jive Talk's latest album '123 Jump!'. To enhance fans' experience with the band, we created an online animated experience using Augmented Reality and Quick Response codes.

    Fold the CD case to form the stage and scan the AR code to start the band's "live" animated performance. Watch the animated Jive Talk members perform their title track, "123 Jump!".

    The inner booklet shows each of the four band members. Scan the QR markers, place your Smart Phone over the band members' mouths and watch the guys sing their music! Try experimenting with the music by scanning the band members at different times to remix the song, or break the song down and listen to each member individually.
