　日商エレクトロニクスのグループ会社でビジュアライゼーションの専門会社であるエヌジーシー（NGC）は、電通九州および電通テック福岡支社経由にて、顔認識をコンテンツと連動させる双方向デジタルサイネージシステムを3月の福岡PARCO（福岡パルコ）グランドオープンに合わせて納入した。 　

デジタルサイネージへの顔認識適用による視聴者測定の事例が多くある中で、今回の導入では、コンテンツの制御に顔認識を用いた点において画期的なソリューションだという。また、無償で入手可能なオープンソースを基に開発を行うことで、高度なソリューションを廉価に実現したとしている。 　

同システムは「パルコタッチビジョン」と名付けられ、福岡パルコの各フロアのエスカレーター脇休憩スペースに設置されている。また、タッチパネルによるフロアガイド、イベント情報、会員カードの案内などを行うだけではなく、フェリカ組み込み携帯電話によるタッチパネルやフェリカカードによる双方向コミュニケーションを導入。
来店者によるデジタルサイネージの利用を促進するコミュニケーションツールとして使用している。今回は、より高い訴求性を実現するため、NGCと映像企画制作会社であるマーズが共同で開発した「顔認識カメラとの連動サイネージ」システムを導入したとしている。

ZooBurst is a digital storytelling tool that is designed to let anyone easily create their own customized 3D pop-up books. This is a wonderful way to practice and teach writing as well and it is incredibly cool as well. All you need is a web cam to turn on the augmented reality features that are really awesome. A great site for young writers.

これは、なかなか凝ったAR。 'DPI AR Components for Quest3D'というツールを使用して作成されているようだ。新しいARツールの登場か？

This is a multi-player next-gen Augmented Reality (AR) game created for Eneco, by DPI New Media called 'De Vier Elementen'/'The Four Elements'.

Eneco is the Netherlands' largest Energy company and commissioned this production to let the public come into contact with its green energy initiatives in a playful way. Players take control of the Sun, Wind, Rain and Biomass to provide the little city with electricity.

And for the kids: by powering the city you also charge an electric ice-cream cart that can deliver its goods to a little school.

This is truly a next-gen Augmented Reality application, because of its multi-player gameplay and graphical effects like real-time shadows, screen-space ambient occlusion and per-pixel lighting for a beautiful spotlight effect for the sun.

This application was created using the 'DPI AR Components for Quest3D', which were first developed in the course of this project.

LEGOのARでより有名になった、metaio の新しいソリューションの紹介動画。metaioのjunaioも今後の展開が楽しみだ。

 metaio`s exciting new "augmented reality" browser junaio® has extended its capabilities beyond the usual location based internet services. Not only may the user obtain information on nearby POIs such as shops, restaurants or train stations, but the camera`s eye is now able to identify objects and "glue" object specific real-time, dynamic, social and 3D information onto the object itself. This unique feature is now being extended through collaboration with kooaba and its visual object search capability, providing access to kooaba`s extensive object databases. Initially available on Android, an iPhone release will follow soon.

Now you can even walk into the Augmented Reality Hostage shop, and buy street wear from the French brand Hostage Wear. Layar developers take shopping to the next level.

The Hostage layer is a 3D shop linked to Hostage Wear’s existing e-shop and is a crossover between a real store and a webshop. We talked to the creator Herve Pellarin from hpsc.fr to explain us about this new shopping experience.

Arduino を操作コントローラーにした、初音ミクの3Dデジタルステージ。自由自在にコンサートホールや歌い手を変えることが出来る。これ、等身大で実現したら本当にコンサートが開けるかもしれない。

This is the behind the scene demonstration of the system used to support the two previous video. Between the two previous video and this one, many new things were added, and some removed.

Added:
1) subtitle system
2) ability for user to select singer and stage independent of each other
3) multiple stage
4) multiple singer
5) control scheme, circuit, and code to enable the above functionalities

Removed:
1) LED

Android端末でも、マーカーベースで3Dモデルを表示するARが実現できる。ここで使用されているのは、ARToolKitかNyARToolKitのようだ。

This means you can freely use it in any of your projects, as long as you license them under the same license, this means the GPL. As it is a Open Source project any code contributions from you are welcome. ARToolworks offers commercial licensing for the underlying ARToolKit.

The HVDJ pumps music through a PA system while two specially designed DRSSTC's (Dual-Resonant Solid State Tesla Coils) act as separate synchronized instruments. LG 電子のAndroid端末に、IRON MAN のアプリケーションをインストール。コミック雑誌 IROM MAN の表紙をAndroid のカメラでかざすと、IRON MAN が3Dで表示されるというもの。

Now that the phone is no longer in "Pre-Order" status and is being shipped out, we know more of the details. Customers who purchase the LG Ally, enV Touch, or Chocolate Touch can visit the LGIM2 web site with their PC, click on the NAV icon and then Gift with Purchase. You're then prompted to enter your contact information, as well as the UPC Code and MEID ESN number from the Ally, enV Touch, or Chocolate Touch. After you submit it, you'll have to wait for a special Limited Edition (of 7500) LG Iron Man 2 Comic Book to arrive in the mail.
