『大阪市住吉区の住吉大社内婚礼式場吉祥殿は20日、現実の風景にデジタル情報を付け加える拡張現実（ＡＲ）技術を使ったテレビコマーシャル（ＣＭ）とドラマを制作したと発表した。

また、境内の太鼓橋など３カ所でＡＲカメラをかざすと花嫁行列の映像が流れる仕組みも構築。若者に神前結婚式をアピールしようと、最先端のＡＲ技術と約１８００年の歴史を誇る住吉大社との強力タッグが実現した。連動型映像広告は日本初の試み。』

オークランド博物館の海洋展示会で拡張現実技術が使用されている。固定されたカメラ付き端末の下に、容易されたアイテムを置くと、3DCGの海洋生物とその説明が表示されるというもの。ある意味標本よりもリアルでゆっくり観察できそうだ。

A toy that can be controlled by smartphone, AR.Drone flying in the sky, Sphero running through the ground has been released. Products that can advance that the water has been published now.

Augmented reality games are all the rage since Ingress took the Android gaming world by storm. Verizon of all companies (in partnership with MunkyFun Inc) has thrown its hat into the ring with DROID COMBAT - MISSION ALPHA, which features the same aesthetics as Big Red'sDroid phone advertisements and is now available for select devices in the Play Store. I had a chance to go hands-on briefly with the game this afternoon and it’s … well ... very interesting.

「ウイルス スカウター」は、ARを利用した本格的なもので、背景に出現するウイルスをカメラ機能が搭載された"ウイルス スカウター"を使い、探知レーダーに反応するウイルスを駆除していくことで、得点をゲットする。駆除には"ブラスター弾"を用いるが、起動時のブラスター弾数は限られており、少なくなるとアラートが点滅。ユーザーは、ノートンブラスターを補充しなければならない。画面内の製品BOXをスキャンしチャージャーを立ち上げ、ブラスター弾を補充するという仕掛け。

「ウイルス スカウター」は、店頭POPのQRコードかApp StoreやGoogle Playからダウンロードできる。対応OSは、 iOS5.0以上(iPhone4S以降)、iPad / iPad mini iOS：5.1以上(iPad2以降)、Android 4.0以上。

Impetus to expand the promotion exciting, using the technology of augmented reality in the future. Huge AR marker that was installed in the home of the station. When you point the camera of the iPad where you installed the dedicated app Impetus to the marker, models that do not exist there appeared in underwear.

日本の東京で、今年も「東京おもちゃショー2013」が開催された。（6月13日～16日・東京ビッグサイト）。
今年もARの技術と組み合わせた玩具が展示された。何れも玩具そのものの楽しみ方を拡張する画像認識型のスマートフォン向けAR技術で体験できるものであった。

「城の魅力は地形まで含めた全体性」　長篠城を完全復元、ARも楽しめるジオラマ登場---パートナー産業は「城郭復元ジオラマシリーズ 城ラマ」の第1弾「三河長篠城」を展示した。長篠城の3D CG映像が楽しめるiOSアプリも開発。専用アプリをインストールし、キットに含まれる長篠城の地図にかざすと城が立体的に浮き上がり、上下左右から見ることができる。発売は夏から秋にかけて、販売価格は通常版が1万2600円、長篠城古地図付きの特装版が1万3650円を予定。

ヘッドマウントディスプレイの利用用途として効果がありそう。見ている箇所を実際に指でタッチすると読み上げるデモ。
