レゴワールドのイベント会場で、仮想のレゴのランナーと走って競争ができるユニークな参加型AR

Make&See were invited by Intel to show off what we could do for LEGO in engaging children in a digital activity during the legendary Lego World Copenhagen using our Augmented Reality (AR) technology. Shadow Runner gave visitors the chance to stand alongside the infamous LEGO mini fig and race against him over 15m.

Queues formed and Shadow Runner was an instant hit with kids and parents alike. Camera's flashed and smiling children raced against our Lego Shadow Runner.

Emails with each runners video footage were sent out allowing all the kids to watch (and no doubt re-watch and re-watch) themselves compete.

Needless to say, such popularity tends to spawn competition. Telepathy One is a thin, little contraption that doesn't try to work a glass panel in front of your face and instead uses a 5-inch "virtual" display to show information within your field of vision.

Looking more than a fashion statement from the future than anything truly functional, Telepathy One is purportedly composed of "finely crafted, superior-quality micro-projection unit." No, I'm not sure what that means, either.
