このブログは、拡張現実 及び 仮想現実 が使用された最新の情報と事例などを掲載しています。---This blog publishes latest information and the case where AR (Augmented Reality) and VR (Virtual Reality) are used, etc.
A sample of the chemistry module developed by me during my internship in MindSpace solutions, Christchurch, NZ. I did majority of the coding work and designing of the modules. Most of the 3D Models were developed by others and given to, although I did small tweakings and changes.

Another sample of a module developed by me during my internship in MindSpace solutions, Christchurch, NZ. This gives a small teaser of the Maths modules. The Info paddle gives info about each of the different modules and how to interact and play with them. I did majority of the coding work and designing of the modules. Some of the 3D Models were developed by me and the interaction between the paddles and objects was designed by me.

According to Gene Becker, a strategist with Layar, augmented reality (AR) is "the blending of the digital world and the physical world." He further explained to WebProNews that it adds digital experiences such as images, video, music, and interactivity to experiences in the physical world.

The game has been the main topic of the experimental part of my master thesis work. It has reached a near-completition state, but with the removal of the epoc capabilities (outside my thesis scope).
Future plans include the refinement of the marker positioning config tool, re-addition of the epoc with limited functionality (actual tests have shown it's nearly impossible to control the airplane), addition of the wiimote as main controller, fixing minor 3D-sound glitches.
Picture the scene. It’s late. You’re driving down the motorway on a snowy Christmas Eve when disaster strikes and that ratting somewhere in your engine reaches breaking point. Your car slows to a stop and with it your dream of getting home in time for turkey. Or so you think, but that's only if you're looking at this scene as someone from 2011.

We propose making one of the most frequent maintenance tasks in mountain bikes which is the installation of the brakes system and cartridge shoes as well as adjustment of the tension cable. They are not difficult tasks but making them the first few times may be quite tough for the average user. Therefore, we propose an easy interface based on augmented reality which leant on the handlebars of the bike may guide the user through every step of the installation.

This new social game will be available in Japan initially on the iPhone platform from the end of March, and then subsequently on the "Mobage-town for smartphone" domestic gaming platform and "Mobage" international gaming platform operated by DeNA Co., Ltd. (CEO: Tomoko Namba; Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; hereinafter "DeNA").
This is the second version of the augmented reality magic mirror we have developed. It uses the Microsoft Kinect to detect a user standing in front of a screen. We use augmented reality to overlay a volume visualization of a CT onto the user. Using gestures the user can select 2D slices. We presented the prototype at the open day of Klinikum Ingolstadt. The aim of the ARITI system is to allow a Human Operator to remotely control and command a robot. The Man-Machine Interface is based on the Mixed Reality concept, grouping Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR).
