Microsoftは米国時間2月21日、モーションコントローラ「Kinect」の「Windows」向けソフトウェア開発キット（SDK）を2011年春にリリースする計画だと発表した。これにより、KinectをWindows PCに直接接続して利用するソフトウェアをサードパーティー開発者が制作できるようになる。Microsoftによれば、これは非商用利用の「スターター版」SDKとなるが、商用利用版も後にリリースする予定だという。

世界的にTVとARの連動という試みが始まりつつある。ここで紹介するARもドラマ連動型だ。新たな参加型という番組構成は、視聴者との絆を深めることだろう。 アプリダウンロード後に、専用のARマーカー(GnG CyberCode)をAndroid端末のカメラにかざすと、端末のディスプレイ上にAKB48メンバーのスペシャルコンテンツが再生されるというもの。
本アプリに対応するARマーカーは、プロモーション期間中の日本テレビの非連動データ放送画面などで表示されるとのことだ。
