株式会社ランド・ホーがARとGPSを組み合わせたiPhone向け位置情報ゲーム「AlienSweeper」をリリースした。「AlienSweeper」は、iPhoneのGPS機能を駆使しGoogleMap上での位置情報をゲームに使用することで、リアル空間で全国のプレイヤーと一緒に”エイリアン狩り”ができるというもの。

ロイヤルメールのグレートブリティッシュ鉄道特別切手、junaioのチャネルにオンラインコンテンツを提供する。AR（拡張現実）機能が利用できる切手「Intelligent Stamp」というものらしい。

Royal Mail's Great British Railway Special Stamp issue is using the Royal Mail channel in junaio to provide online content via a suitable iPhone or Android smart phone to users. The channel has been developed by our UK partner m2end in association with RBIT Limited. By simply pointing the phone's camera onto the stamp when in junaio, the application launches online content on the stamp´s theme, which for this particular issue sees a reciting of the "Night Mail" poem by Bernard Cribbins.

「ホークスバーチャルスタンプラリー2010」は、ヤフードーム内外にあるARマーカーを見つけてスタンプラリー専用ARアプリをインストールしたiPhoneをかざすと、ホークファミリーや3Dの応援メッセージが表示されるというもの。規定数をクリアすると球団の応援グッズであるビクトリーフラッグをGETできる。

GPSではなく、シーン認識技術を使用したiPhone ARアプリ。GPSが利用できな場面でもシーンを予め登録しておくことで、不動産とそ情報を提供することができる。

Zenitum, the leading augmented reality company, developed premium content where smart phone users can explore interesting architectural works in major cities of the world, and Doojin Hwang was selected as the first architect to join this creative initiative.

Opened in July, 2010, Architectural Walks will provide the stories and images of the eight hanoks that Doojin Hwang Architects designed along with voice-over narrations by Doojin Hwang. 

The next content to be provided by Doojin Hwang Architects is the Walking along the Seoul Fortress, a complete augmented reality tour of the medieval fortress of Seoul.

The `Smart Laser Projector' (SLP) is a modified laser-based projector capable of displaying graphics on a variety of non-prepared surfaces, while simultaneously using the beam (at the same or different wavelength or polarization) as a LIDAR probe gathering information about that surface position, orientation and shape, fine texture, spectral reflectance and even relative motion. It is therefore possible to synthesize an artificial surface reflectance, or to correct geometrical warp, all in real time and without the need of calibrating a camera and a projector. We have developed two prototypes, one working in raster-scan mode, and another in vector graphics mode. Our previous reserach on the Smart Laser Scanner, scoreLight and Sticky Light can be seen as special applications of the SLP in vector-graphics mode.

今回行われるパイロットサービスは、デジタルサイネージの「Let'sサイネージ」とARを利用した「インフォスコープ(InfoScope)」の2種類。「Let'sサイネージ」で「ucode」と呼ばれるタグが埋め込まれたQRコードが印刷されたパンフレットをサイネージ端末にかざすと店舗情報が表示されるというもので、「インフォスコープ」は、ディスプレイとカメラが装備された専用端末からカメラの向きに応じて建築予定のビルの3D映像や入居予定の店舗の情報などが表示されるというもの。

この製品のプロモーションのため、iPhone向けARアプリ「夜カジ体操」をリリース。アプリを起動した後、自分のTwitterアイコンか顔写真を選択しNIGHT COLORシリーズの広告やカタログ、WEBサイトなどの黄色、赤、青、それぞれの部屋の写真にかざすと、ダンスユニット「珍しいキノコ舞踊団」の振り付けによる「夜カジ体操」の動画にアイコンや顔写真が合成されるという。
